I smiled. It wasn't forced. It wasn't sarcastic. It wasn't empty either. Even I was a little confused or may be surprised, but perhaps finding a reason behind it wasn't necessary. Afterall, it's what I was longing for. & Being able to finally reach here was more than a victory. Although I've the very exact count of days, I'd like to skip mentioning it. All I can say is, it felt like a decade. To some days in our lives, it's undermining to name them just dark or unfortunate. There isn't a specific word for it, however what it does to you is often pretty clear. You get to go through phases that feels worse than your nightmares. & After all the whining and cries, you give a laugh that's emptier than the hearts described in the sad poems. You survive one. & Before trying to treat those scars, another enters. The fear continues. You feel a little less surprised though, but the frustration is unreal.
